Lithuania, Germany agree must respect Ukraine in Nord Stream 2 construction

Lithuanian President Gitanas Nauseda said he had agreed in talks with German Chancellor Angela Merkel that Ukraine’s interests should be respected in the construction of the Nord Stream 2 gas pipeline.
Ukraine is worried that it will lose out on transit revenues when the pipeline, which will transport gas from Russia to Germany, opens. (Reporting by Tassilo Hummel Writing by Madeline Chambers Editing by Michelle Martin)
