Russia's Novatek offers LNG cargo for August delivery
7/8/2019
Russia’s Novatek has offered a liquefied natural gas (LNG) cargo for loading in July or delivery in August, three industry sources said.
The Russian gas producer has offered buyers the option of having the cargo delivered into Europe or Northeast Asia from the Yamal LNG plant, they added.
If it is delivered into North Asia, the cargo will be shipped via the Arctic sea route which has just opened for summer, one of the sources said.
Bids are due by July 9, a second source said. (Reporting by Jessica Jaganathan; editing by Christian Schmollinger)
