CNOOC starts expansion of Ningbo LNG terminal

China’s largest LNG importer CNOOC has started construction of the second phase of the Ningbo LNG terminal in Zhejiang province, the news website of Zhejiang provincial government said.

CNOOC will build three tanks each with 160,000 cubic meters of storage capacity for the Ningbo project, the Zhejiang government news website said.
The terminal will have 6 million tonnes of receiving capacity by 2020 when the project finishes, it said.
