GTT receives order from Samsung Heavy Industries to design LNG carrier tanks for ship-owner Gaslog

Paris - GTT has received an order notification from Samsung Heavy Industries (SHI) to equip a new Liquefied Natural Gas Carrier (LNGC) with its Mark III Flex membrane containment system. Offering a capacity of 180,000 m3, this unit will be built in South Korea on behalf of ship-owner Gaslog. Its delivery is scheduled for Q3 2020.

"The choice, once again, of our Mark III Flex technology shows that this system perfectly matches the current needs of the market."
