Woodside expects first Wheatstone LNG cargo in Sept

MELBOURNE (Reuters) — Woodside Petroleum expects the first cargo from the Wheatstone liquefied natural gas project in September, Chief Executive Peter Coleman said on Wednesday.

"We're targeting first cargo in September," Coleman told analysts on a conference call.
Commissioning of the project's first processing unit, called a train, is nearly complete, and the second train is expected to be up and running between March and May 2018, he said. Chevron Corp is operator of Wheatstone.
