Entegra's 6-inch MFL/Caliper combination technology tool achieved first run success in a 3-mile-long Ethane pipeline near Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
Entegra's patent-pending in-line inspection tools provide a clear picture of the current condition of oil, gas and chemical pipelines. The entire fleet employs a smart sampling schema and twice the number of magnetic flux leakage and caliper sensors to achieve nearly four times the data resolution, when compared to other technologies. Pipeline owners and operators use this technology to proactively detect, identify, and quantify potential threats to the safe operation of a pipeline, including corrosion due to damaged coating and dents and mechanical damage from third party intrusion.
