UK's Centrica signs natural gas supply deal with Canada's Whitecap Resources
2/24/2026
Centrica said on Tuesday it has signed a 10-yr natural gas supply agreement with Canada's Whitecap Resources, as the British Gas-owner seeks to manage market-price exposure across its liquefied natural gas portfolio.
Under the agreement beginning in April 2028, Whitecap will deliver 50,000 million British thermal units (MMBtu) of natural gas per day to Centrica Energy, with pricing linked to the European gas markets benchmark, the Title Transfer Facility.
