ADNOC signs 15-year Ruwais LNG supply deal with Shell

Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC) said that it had signed a 15-year deal with a subsidiary of Shell to supply up to 1 MMtpy of liquefied natural gas (LNG) from its Ruwais LNG project.
Following the sale and purchase agreement with Shell International Trading Middle East Limited, more than 8 MMtpy of Ruwais LNG's planned 9.6 mtpa capacity has been contracted through long-term deals with customers across Asia and Europe, ADNOC said.
Commercial operations for Ruwais are expected to start by the fourth quarter of 2028, ADNOC added.
